DR. ROBERT E. NIEBUHR JOINS BUSINESS ADVISORY GROUP of LINC PREFERRED GROUP

COOKEVILLE, TN. – April 21, 2004 – Mr. James K. Morton, Chairman, and CEO of LINC Preferred Group, Inc. announced today the addition of Dr. Robert Niebuhr to its BUSINESS ADVISORY GROUP. The Advisory Group is chaired by former Congressman Ed Bryant who is currently a Partner at Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz.

“We are very pleased to have Dr. Niebuhr join our group. We value his leadership experience and share a common vision of defining new solutions to improve the profitability of the transportation industry,” said Morton.

“With fuel prices soaring, there is a real need for fleets to lower their operating costs and simplify their supply chain management. I am eager to work with LINC to improve productivity, create innovative business solutions and positively influence the profitability of the transportation industry,” said Niebuhr.

Dr. Niebuhr, since July 2001, has served as Dean of the College of Business Administration at Tennessee Tech University. During his tenure, the college has introduced a distance-based MBA program that currently has over 70 working professionals enrolled offsite. Additionally, an emphasis on external endeavors has resulted in multi-media contracts with such firms as Averitt Express, Clayton Homes, and the Nashville Sounds. Most noteworthy was the Johnson Hall renovation which resulted in complete refurbishing of several classrooms and conversion of the entire facility to a wireless environment.

Previously, Dr. Niebuhr was a faculty member at the College of Business at Auburn University for twenty-four years where he served Auburn as head of the Management Department, as interim Dean, as Executive Director of Corporate Relations, and as Director of the Physicians Executive MBA Program. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Niebuhr worked as a metallurgical engineer for ten years and then completed his doctorate in management at Ohio State University. He earned his B.S. from the University of Cincinnati and his M.S. from Ohio State.
